  1. Dear afternoon Nee,
How lovely and yummy. I really love German Sauerbraten. This recipe looks to a winner for sure! Especially with the ginger snaps crushed. Years ago there was a German restaurant called "Niederstein's" and my family would go there a few times a year. The food was really very good and the place was famous. Since then it has closed down, but I always remember riding in the car to the restaurant dreaming of what I would order. I love your plate with the carrots and the lemon. Thank you for sharing, have a great weekend...

  5. Hi Nee,
I can't think of a meal I would rather have more than a dish of German Sauerbraten (well, I'd love to have been able to make John's brisket but alas:) Marion has been boycotting beef these days but she forgot to tell me. I had to put the fresh brisket I bought in the freezer so I wouldn't even dream of making Sauerbraten. Save me some Nee, I LOVE it. Hopefully she will reconsider soon:)

Thanks so much for sharing Nee...and thank you so much for your lovely comments on my blog:)
